My name is Jennifer, and I’ve decided to find my own happiness and start this blog called The Island Millennial. I created this blog to share my life experiences with others and maybe be an inspiration for those who want to do the same.

Let’s start 2024 with a bang!!
Typically me, I haven’t made any plans for this year yet, but there are three things that I’m definitely looking forward to in 2024.
The first one: CARNIVAL SEASON. January 6, the new carnival season here in Curacao kicks off. This will be my 7th year participating in the grand parade, which will be on February 11. The grand farewell parade will be on February 13. As a member of one of the most popular groups in the parade, I’m excited for this year’s experience.
The second one: MY CRUISE VACATION. On June 8, I will be boarding the largest cruise in the world, Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas. This will be my first vacation post-pandemic. The last time I booked a cruise, it got canceled due to the pandemic. This vacation is a very special one because we will be celebrating my dad’s 70th birthday and my parents’ 45th wedding anniversary. Stay tuned for all the content about this vacation.
The third one: GRADUATION. I’m currently enrolled at the University of the People where I’m pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree. I’m expecting to graduate in August. It’s been an eventful journey so far. An unique experience making lots of connections to people on the other side of the world.
